Violence Prevention

Saint Anselm College is committed to providing students with ongoing prevention and awareness education related to sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking.

 

AVERT (Assault Violence Education Resource Team) 

Saint Anselm College’s Assault Violence Education Resource Team (AVERT) is a cross constituency group that supports semester-long educational programs, campaigns and events. Examples of offerings include: 

  • Bringing in the Bystander 
  • One Love Workshops 
  • Peer Educator Training/Facilitation 
  • Awareness Month Events

The Harbor 

Located on the lower level of the Jean Student Center, The Harbor, supported by an Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Grant, is a hub for prevention, education and awareness of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking. It is also a drop in center for victims or survivors of violence to offer options, support and assistance. 

Please note that the Director of the The Harbor, Amanda Casali, is designated as a Confidential Resource Advisor , a role in which trauma informed support and assistance is provided to a victim-survivor, per NH RSA 188-H
