Similar to the color-coded national alert systems or to phases many States have utilized to mitigate the spread of Covid through the assumption or requirement of health practices and various approaches to social interactions and travel, the College is adopting a system of Phases.

In the descriptions of the varied Phases below, the accompanying permissions are to maintain the health and welfare of our college community, first, as well as to assume our personal and collective responsibility to extinguish the current rates of transmission.  The color-coding denotes the severity and activity level permitted in a particular phase.

The Phases ideally allow for measured progression to more active and greater gathering opportunities.  It is important to note that the Phases are bi-directional; they can advance or return to a previous phase as needed.  Our health, safety, and welfare will remain paramount as the semester proceeds. Masks must be worn and 6ft social distancing maintained in all phases.

The Phases will not happen all at once and are our best chance for our ability to successfully complete the spring semester.
