In celebration of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 21, 2019, Geisel Library has prepared a print book exhibition. Written by contemporary African American authors, thinkers, and essayists, this display presents books from the Library’s collection that confront issues of race and racism that persist in today’s society. These works demonstrate how contemporary writers continue to advance Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy of racial justice and social change.
