Financial aid is renewable each year, as long as you continue to demonstrate financial need and meet academic and personal standards established by Saint Anselm College and the federal government. Please read carefully the college's Satisfactory Academic Progress policy (PDF/362KB).

  • Dates and Deadlines

Due to new federal regulations, the financial aid process is starting earlier than ever. We encourage all students to apply early! Online applications become available starting on October 1, 2017.

You must reapply each year and submit all required financial aid paperwork by April 15.

Students missing that deadline will lose a percentage of their need-based Saint Anselm College grant and scholarship aid for the following year. We assess a 5% reduction in need-based aid for each month that you are late.

Please contact the Office of Financial Aid to tell us that you do not wish to apply for institutional need-based resources if that is the case.

*** College Board IDOC collects all tax forms from Saint Anselm College families via a secure website. The College Board will send submission instructions through email once IDOC is available to families. Please register with the College Board using a valid email address. • The 2018-2019 FAFSA will be submitted with 2016 tax information.

Families will be able to use actual tax information, rather than estimated, when applying for financial aid. Almost all families will have the ability to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) when completing the FAFSA, which allows for automatic transfer of tax information to a student's FAFSA

    • If a student has completed a FAFSA and CSS Profile in a previous year, the only form that is initially required to be submitted is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2018-2019. After the Office of Financial Aid has reviewed the results of your FAFSA form, we may reach out to you for additional documentation so please remember to check your MyAnselm portal under My Financial Aid-Net Partner for outstanding documents.
