Interests include reducing medication errors in practice, dosage-calculation education for undergraduate nurses, dosage-calculation continuous education and competency for practicing nurses, mathematics preparation for nursing students.
Started nursing career at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in 2017 working on a neuroscience specialty unit. Transitioned to Nurse Educator at Georgetown in 2020 for two neuroscience medical-surgical units. While at Georgetown assisted with Neuro-Intership lectures and onboarding new nurses to utilize the EMR. Worked in acute rehab at Gaylord Specialty Healthcare in Connecticut starting the summer of 2022. Obtained masters to work as an advanced practitioner and received family nurse practitioner certification in July, 2023. Started working as a nurse practitioner in community health, in southern New Hampshire, in the Spring of 2024. Began academic experience at Marymount University in 2020 working in simulation and started virtual adjunct work in 2024.
